COURSE DESCRIPTION: RCM
300 is a multi-sectioned course that considers
the challenge of oral and written communication from a rhetorical perspective.
This is a multi-sectioned course taught by people from a broad range of
academic specialties who enrich the study of communication with a variety
of expertise. We will do our best to keep the sections consistent, but
with multiple sections operating at once, absolute identity between them
is impossible to ensure, and, given the nature of communication, not even
desirable. All sections will cover the same topics, require the same assignments,
and grade using the same standards and expectations; however, the sequence
and emphasis will inevitably vary slightly from section to section, as
each instructor draws upon his or her particular experience with professional
communication. top
