Overview

Welcome to the website for ME 335.3 Fluid Mechanics II.  This course is a required third-year undergraduate course in the Mechanical Engineering program.  All assignments, solutions, course information, announcements, and other class materials will be found at this website.  It is the student's responsibility to keep up-to-date on the material contained at this website.

      NEW When you are working on Assignment 5, please note the information found in Figures 5.2 and 5.3 in the textbook; these figures contain Strouhal number data for a cylinder (needed for Problem 3) and drag coefficient data for smooth and rough cylinders (needed for Problem 6).  (Posted March 21, 2019)

      The Mechanical Engineering Design Expo 2019 will be held on Thursday, March 14, from 3:00-6:00 pm in Upper Place Riel (North Concourse).  The Design Expo will showcase the capstone design projects from this year’s ME 495 class.  Everyone is welcome to attend.  (Posted March 8, 2019)
