Agricultural Systems

Agricultural systems can be defined as the design of safer, more efficient and environmentally sustainable production systems for plants and animals. We have three major research programs within this theme area:

Engineering environments for plants and animals - indoor air quality, animal-environment interactions, energy, heating and ventilating, odor dispersion, feedlot design

Machinery systems for agricultural production - tillage and soil dynamics, landmine neutralization, harvesting machinery, animal handling, materials handling
