Contemporary medicine, both diagnostic and therapeutic, relies increasingly upon highly sophisticated technical methods, devices, and equipment. This trend has continued for the past three decades and shows great increase today leading to a new paradigm - Convergent Medical Technology. These achievements represent only a sample of what can be obtained through systematic cooperation and team work. Such an effort represents a two-way street.
