Petroleum Research

The Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering offers four levels of graduate degree programs in Chemica, Agricultural and Bioresource Engienering: Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Master of Engineering (M.Eng), Master of Science (M.Sc.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees. The requirements of the Postgraduate Diploma are ten graduate level one-term courses. The M.Sc. requirements normally include at least four graduate level one-term courses beyond the B.Sc. degree, and the completion and an oral defense of a thesis. The Ph.D. program requires successful completion of a comprehesive qualifying examination, at least six graduate level one-term courses and completion and an oral defense of a thesis on original research.
