Academic Requirements


The Program of Graduate Studies in the Division of Environmental Engineering provides graduate training opportunities to students with a degree in engineering and to students with appropriate science-based degrees. Certification of proficiency in English such as TOEFL is also required for those whose first language is not English.

Students in environmental engineering have the opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary nature within the College of Engineering and with other Colleges and related institutions. The Division provides a formal structure to meet the specific needs of students who wish to enhance their skills in the area of environmental engineering by developing interdisciplinary programs suited to student''s specific needs.
