Annual MESA Student-Faculty/Staff Curling Night
The Department of Mechanical Engineering values creating a sense of community among our students, faculty and staff. We have a very active student community and the Mechanical Engineering Student's Association (MESA) holds various social events for students. MESA also organizes a file of previous exams, and organizes the fourth-year graduation banquet. Several student-faculty/staff events are held each year, including a curling night and barbeque. College and university-wide intramural leagues and tournaments are held throughout the year, and many students use the Physical Activities Complex (PAC).
