SPEED Funding Supported by Shell Canada College of Engineering 2009-10 to 2011-12

Criteria:
Student Projects Enriching Engineering Design (SPEED) funding:

• Eligible applicants restricted to mechanical, civil, chemical, materials and mining engineering students and faculty
• Eligible initiatives include student clubs, design projects, attendance at Oil & Gas related conferences and field trips which are endorsed by the Engineering Faculty.  Project ideas must demonstrate relevance to course work.
• Students/faculty to submit an application for funding.
• Allocations approved by the College of Engineering Executive Committee.

Application Deadlines:

Student Groups

• Submission of applications – January 15
• Submission of final expenses – April 30

Engineers-In-Residence

• Submission of applications – September 1

Department Design Course Activities

• Submission of applications – January 15
• Submission of final expenses – April 30
